Ultraman Galaxy Cup

Buddy Go! We’ll be hosting an Ultraman Card Game Galaxy Cup tournament during our Community Game Night! Galaxy Cups are highly competitive tournaments that give players the chance to test their skills. All participants receive a participation prize, while the winner and other top players receive prizes!

Tournament format

The tournament is held in a Best-of-3 Swiss draw format until there is one winner. The top players, who make up 1/4 of the total number of participants, will then compete in a final tournament to decide the winner. If the number of participants on the day is less than 1/4 of the capacity, only the Swiss draw format will be used.

The match-ups will be decided by the matching system via the Ultra League App.

Deck Requirements

To participate in the tournament, each player must prepare a 50-card deck in accordance with the standard rules of the game. Decks may not contain any Transcendent (banned) cards (see list of transcendent cards here). Deck contents cannot be changed during the tournament. Players are required to submit a decklist through the Ultra League app. A player’s deck must match the contents of their registered decklist. If they do not match, it is a tournament violation.

After submitting their decklist, a player may make changes to it during that tournament’s registration period, by informing a judge or staff member, and submitting an updated decklist. A player may not make changes to their decklist after the first match has started.

Prizes

The Winner Prize for the tournament will be “Jugglus Juggler The Infinite Phantom” with a gorgeous foil finish and “WINNER” gold stamp!

The Top-ranking Prize for the tournament is “Ultraman Decker Strong Type” featuring collectible artwork from the Japanese edition of the game!

All participants will receive a special promo card!
